NYC Penthouse
Apartment by John Barman Inc in United States

The welcoming new space introduces the dynamic use of color, contrast, and geometry that exists in every room.

A flocked-velvet wallpaper in teal with trim and crown moldings painted to match defines the living and dining rooms. The rugs used were custom designed in vibrant colors to coordinate with the various and unexpected textiles and art applied to furniture and walls. Just beyond the living room , the den shifts to a green flocked-velvet-on-gold-leaf wallpaper and a custom colored rug. New wood floors in a herringbone pattern were installed in these rooms and arched openings were built between the foyer, living room, and den/bar.
