Exploring this sumptuous 1930’s Tudor style residence is to slip into another realm, one that leaves the vicissitudes of modern day living far behind. This timeless sanctuary pays tribute to the owners’ love of reading and learning, a passion that has guided them in building a priceless collection of art, books and antiquities. When the couple decided to look for a larger home in Washington, they engaged Solis Betancourt in locating a suitable property to house their priceless treasures. The task was to respectfully transform the historical dwelling into an environment that would enhance the art collection without making the space feel like a museum.
