Sonoma Pool Pavilion
Vacation Home by Fisher Weisman Brugioni in Healdsburg, CA
A simple, pared-down structure, the pool house was conceived as a classic French pavilion. Working with architect Richard Beard of San Francisco, we created a symmetrical, twenty by fifty foot house with a large open plan living, dining, kitchen and sleeping space and twelve-foot ceilings paneled in painted redwood. The house also holds a bathroom, laundry room, and storage. With its fresh, playful colors and fabrics, the light-filled house was designed for daytime use, in contrast with the deep colors and dressier style of the main house. Multiple windows offer views of the surrounding pool garden.
