Tribeca Residence

Family Home by Damon Liss Design in New York, NY

In Tribeca overlooking bucolic Duane park sits the duplex loft Damon Liss designed for his family. The seamless blend of contemporary and vintage furnishings add to the warm inviting atmosphere found throughout Damon’s projects. In the living room a 1930’s Danish chair with it’s original grey patinated leather resides next to a 1960’s Martin Eisler chair covered in olive velvet. The custom millwork library shelves surround an upholstered wall of cut mohair and a pair of 1950’s Italian sconces. The charming feel of the three bedrooms and den separated from the main floor was created when the two historic factory buildings were combined. That, along with all the unique furnishings, layers of luxurious rugs and fabrics, soft palate, and beautiful art contribute to making this loft a true home.
