“In order to transform the 3,000 square foot space (along with 2,000 square foot rooftop terrace), Jacobson hired Belgian-born architect and designer Francis D’Haene. The central element is the invisible Chancelier by Castor. Highlight pieces include a Poola Lenti sofa, a B&B Italia leather ottoman with Vic Muniz’s image of Sophia Loren gazing over the room. Artworks lining the corridor to the master bedroom include pieces by South African artist Alex Hamiliton, Valrie Berlin, and Candida Hofer.”
