What happened to the Pucci brand?

A lot has happened to the Pucci brand. The Italian fashion house was founded by Emilio Pucci in 1947 and opened its first boutique in 1950. Vintage fashion enthusiasts know Pucci for its scarves and slithery dresses in sensuous psychedelic silk jersey (but Pucci has also offered ceramics and furniture and has partnered with a range of manufacturers over the years). From 2017 to 2021, the company operated without a creative director. In 2021, LVMH purchased Pucci and set to work revitalizing the brand.
