One Love, from the series Aqua Viva
Located in New York, NY
A photograph on fine art Baryta paper mounted to Dibond and floated in a white wood frame with a UV 70 Glass. A limited-edition available in 3 print sizes. Custom sizes available within the editions. 35.5 x 43" Edition of 10 $5,800 46 x 56" Edition of 8 $8,900 56 x 68" Edition of 5 $12,300 other framing options are available such as facemiunted to Acrylic. Price on request. About the Series: Aldara Ortega’s series Agua Viva was an entirely experimental journey brought together by the serendipity of life, motion, and emotion. Ortega found the model featured in these photos at an art fair where she was spellbound by her work with silks. The two met in Miami and brought to life a series of three photographs entitled, Liquid Passion, El Beso, and Poderosa Nereida. Within these masterpieces Ortega discovered her passion for not capturing poses, but motion and how looking closely at the in-between moments of life can bring to light undiscovered emotions. About the photo: Aldara Ortega spontaneously captured this image of a friend on a trip to the British Virgin Islands. One Love was created through the guidance of Ortega combined with the model's complex past with water. We tend to try and fight the tempests of life, but we must learn how to float and let things be. One Love blossoms...

Ghost Flower No 8, floral photography, pink art, limited edition print
Located in Deddington, GB
Diasec® mounting is a time proven system that has set the benchmark for face mounting photographic and fine art prints. Developed in the late 1960’s Diasec® was the first system that allowed photographs to be bonded directly and permanently to acrylic sheet. Diasec® panels are backed with pure aluminium sheet, reinforcing the rigidity of the finished panel. Giving a beautiful profile when viewed from the side. The aluminium back also enables us to attach one of our bespoke pure aluminium sub-frames that allows the artwork to hang on the wall without a traditional picture frame Discover new photography by Allan Forsyth online and in our Wychwood Art Gallery in Deddington. Allan Forsyth is an artist who explores a breadth of themes that is reflected in the range of techniques he employs: analogue and digital exposures taken by the artist exist in his work, alongside computer generated imagery, photograms, and photographic collages from historic magazines and vintage postcards. Born in the Highlands of Scotland, Forsyth’s heritage conveys his love of the drama of nature to his work, seeking to expand the beauty of natural forms that we sometimes overlook in everyday life showing an extra dimension in his work. His work complements some of the most dynamic of interiors worldwide and his work has been exhibited and collected internationally. He lives and works in London. GHOST FLOWER...

The Temple of Dawn II, Bangkok, Thailand
Located in New York, NY
The Temple of Dawn II, Bangkok, Thailand 1957 Archival pigment print Estate stamped, signed and numbered by Andrea Derujinsky with certificate of authenticity The entire Gleb Derujinsky Collection available exclusively at IFAC Arts on 1stdibs. Groundbreaking fashion photographer Gleb Derujinsky invigorated the fashion industry with his glamorous, exotic, and often unconventional photographs. Gleb Derujinsky's career as a fashion photographer took hold in the golden age of European haute couture, when Balenciaga and Pierre Balmain were at the top of their game and Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld were designing their first runway shows. Although air travel was still reserved for the happy few, Derujinsky convinced his editors Carmel Snow and Diana Vreeland to send him around the world to photograph beautiful models like Carmen Dell Orefice and his future wife, Ruth Neumann draped in expensive gowns juxtaposed against rough desert dunes or a glittering ocean at sunset. His ideas were revolutionary and they gave rise to the mystique and glamour that is now pervasive in fashion. Derujinsky was the quintessential Renaissance man photographer, award-winning cinematographer and commercial director, inventor, WWII veteran, world traveler, jewelry designer, musician, ski instructor, Ferrari America race-car driver, and champion glider pilot. His passion for photography started at the tender age of six, by ten, he had built a photo enlarger, and as a teenager, he became the youngest member of the Camera Club of New York. His photographs appeared in major lifestyle magazines and extensively in Harper's Bazaar from 1950 to 1970 Derujinsky’s best fashion photographs are typified by the frisson between high fashion in the 1950s and 1960s with the dynamism of locations and urban scenarios." Autumn at the Bow Bridge (Limited Edition of 25) - Landscape Photography
Located in New York, NY
This image captured by New York photographer Christopher Petsos in 2014, featuring The Bow Bridge (cast iron bridge), located in Central Park, New York City. The photograph demonstrates the beauty of New York City in the Fall, when the humidity of summer is gone but plenty of days with warm temperatures and blue skies remain to demonstrate a show of colorful foliage, as do the residential side streets and busy squares. Christopher Petsos is a New York City based photographer and artist. He is best known for capturing Light, pattern, texture, color and motion across the urban realm. Christopher Petsos believes that we see things through a filter of the self, a camera records the physical details of a scene, but our human eyes and sub-conscious self are the interpreters that complete our view of reality. In his own words: “Throughout the process, I stay faithful to the underlying truth of the scene. My work inhabits the space between literal depiction and my emotional Impression of the moment. The result is hyper-reality: facts imbued with feeling.” In this image, Christopher Petsos stands true to his words and brilliantly captures the light, pattern, texture, color and motion across the urban realm and painted it in his own colors to give the viewer a new perspective. Limited Numbered Edition of this iconic print on fine art archival pigment paper and signed by Christopher Petsos are available in the sizes below. We ship world-wide and shipping is free. Your choice of one or many artworks will be given the highest standard care and delivery. Limited Edition print orders, due to risk of damage, value and high shipping and insurance costs are not framed. All limited-edition prints are professionally packaged and shipped in sturdy tubes. ABOUT: For the last two years Mark and Kristen have collaborated using one of the earliest photographic methods, collodion wet plate to create ambrotypes on glass and tintypes on aluminum. They use a 1860 style view camera to create one-of-a-kind images, which become windows into an intimate, romantic, and beautiful world of faces, still lives, nudes, and landscapes. In this demanding process, the collodion coated tin or glass plates are immersed in a silver nitrate solution, and then they must be exposed in the camera and developed while still wet. Serendipitous flaws and beautiful imperfections are an inevitable part of this imprecise hands-on process. This show includes a combination of 24 tintypes and ambrotypes, which are 8x10 and smaller in size. Their intimate sizes ask the viewers to look closer and spend more time with these photographs to fully appreciate their power. — A welcome antidote to today's nonstop, ¬instantaneous imagery. Paradoxically, this intersection of past and present gives these pieces an unmistakably contemporary feel. The two collaborators deliberately play up the ambiguity of time. The nudes (some recalling E.J. Bellocq's alluring portraits of New Orleans prostitutes in 1912) are suffused with freshness and sensuality, even eroticism at times, with nearly all of them coming off as refined rather than crass.
