Cherries - original realism still life painting - contemporary Art
Located in London, Chelsea
This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. A feast of form and color, Cherries by Heinz Schönhammer is a celebration of pure, gleaming abundance. The canvas overflows with clusters of ripe, red fruit, each cherry painted with a mirror-like sheen that catches and reflects light in dazzling variation. The repetition of round forms and taut skin creates a rhythm that pulses with life and ripeness. Schönhammer’s hyperrealist style turns the surface into a field of sensual delight—light glances across glossy surfaces while stems curve like elegant calligraphy. Deep burgundies, bright crimsons, and inky purples intermingle, lending the composition a velvety richness that’s as tactile as it is visual. Cherries is a vibrant ode to color, excess, and nature’s indulgence, elevated to visual poetry through masterful control of light and tone. This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. Artist Biography: Heinz Schönhammer was born in Vienna, Austria. After completing his fine art studies, he sought artistic inspiration across Europe, traveling to the Netherlands and Germany before eventually settling in Turin, Italy. There, he established significant connections with notable Italian artists such as Antonio Carena, Lucio Fontana, and Piero Ruggeri...

1935 Original Art Deco poster by Cassandre - Dubo, Dubon, Dubonnet
Located in PARIS, FR
"In triptych form, the mythical Dubo, Dubon, Dubonnet is in a way the ancestor of the animated gif! A simple, poetic visual narrative wrapped in a humorous tone. A silhouette darkens as the Dubo, Dubon, Dubonnet sequence progresses. Some say that it's these gestures and features that have given rise to our image of the aperitif. Cheers, Cassandra! Today, the Evin law would forbid this type of alcohol promotion, but that hasn't stopped this poster from becoming a cult image, taken up and quoted by every generation of graphic designers. Dubonnet is a brand of vermouth flavored mainly with cinchona, available in red and white. It was created by French chemist Joseph Dubonnet. It was in Paris, near the future site of the Garnier opera house, that Joseph Dubonnet developed his cinchona wine in 1846. To combat malaria, he developed this bitter-tasting medicine, which he masked with a strong-tasting decoction of herbs and spices. Soldiers in the Foreign Legion...

"Sam, " Oil Painting
Located in Denver, CO
Derek Harrison's (US based) "Sam" is an oil painting that depicts a nude female model with pink hair and shaved sides. "Sam" is a secondary market work with one previous owner. Artist Biography: Derek Harrison has worked as an artist almost all of his life. It all began with experimental art in various mediums. These ranged from watercolor to spray paint, tattooing, illustration and eventually to oil painting. A full spectrum of mediums experimented with as an artist beginning to learn his craft. In early 2010 Derek began taking workshops with very accomplished painters. This exposure opened his eyes and mind to what the possibilities are in the fine art world. After a very short amount of time, Derek began to take an extreme interest in classical/traditional art. This interest would lead him to study at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art. After formal training, many classes and workshops outside of the school and a very important session of weekly classes with artist Jeremy Lipking, Derek Harrison has become one of the most exciting new talents in the field of representational painting.
