The Stanislav Belovski's paintings are a great example that the vintage style prevails lately and is also present in the world of contemporary art. A characteristic feature of these images is a clearly visible texture of the canvas, which remind us pages that someone snatched from a fashion magazine found in the attic. It's similar to the effect used by Quentin Tarantino in his recent productions, where full of dirt and defects film reels pulls the audience in a unique atmosphere of a Drive-in theater.
His favorite field of work is the visual arts.
In his work he uses and is inspired by iconic images from the recent past - musicians, political figures and artists.

Starting in 1970, John travelled to South Africa capturing images of the people and social divide of Aparteid.
His iconic Subway series shot between 1970 and 1982 in New York City is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of New York, The New York Historical Society and Hoboken Historical Museum.
In 2010, John Conn spent 45 days in Antarctica and Patagonia, traveling and hiking to capture the land and seascapes. He spent over 20 days journeying over 3,200 nautical miles in Antarctica before heading to Patagonia for the second part of his expedition. In 2014 John began a series of treks across the US photographing Americans, similar to what Robert Frank did in the late 1950’s.
