Antique Apples

In this drawing, Sylvia Spicuzza presents the viewer with a dark, subtle view of two apples, still

silver fringes, upon which cascade translucent red cherries, apples, grapes and intertwined vines.  In

apples (symbol of the original fall of Man but also of the Redemption in Christ) In the foreground we

first and only surface. This somewhat opaque on the tins, where it picks up apple green undertones

holds a small red apple (symbol of original sin). The little lamb, with its head turned towards Jesus

seated putto next to a standing putto with a freshly harvested apple. The right side panel depicting a
