A rare large 1920's cat iron outdoor sconce, I did not take pictures with the flash, because the flash distort the true color of the metal

Artist proof outside the edition of 100. Ref. Cat. Cailler 94; Johnson 30. Slightly browned and faded; lower left margin with a repaired marginal tear.

The monk occupies the center of the scene, surrounded by cats, flowering plants, gardening tools, an old watering can, baskets and beehives.

The bar brooch is ornamented to the centre with a feature 1.55 Ct cabochon cut cat's eye chrysoberyl, displaying fine chatoyance*.
