. This beautiful dancing satyr probably was a souvenir of the Grand Tour, a 17th and 18th century custom

decorated with 1 flute playing satyr and 2 dancing satyrs on a mottled purple background. The funnel shaped

towards the left and a dancing satyr (provenance : British collection from the 1950-60's). It comes in
