She was a French painter, illustrator and writer. Doré's production varied from erotic to travel illustrations. With her fascinating drawings, she illustrated the classics of erotic literature, books of poetry, magazines and most of her husband’s books (the Belgian author T’Serstevens, with whom she often traveled).
