Amy Sidrane Art

American
Amy E. Sidrane is a Contemporary Landscape Artist rooted in the traditions of Russian Landscape Painters. Born in Harford, Connecticut, fascinated with the visual world, she started drawing and painting at a very young age. In 1979 she was awarded with full scholarship to study art with the renowned Russian Impressionist, Sergei Bogart, whom she credits for providing her with a strong traditional foundation in aesthetics. For the next several years, she developed her own unique style based on personal observation and studying from life, painting on location in both the United States and abroad. During the many years of artistic study, landscape painting has risen to be a personal passion. Complementing her paintings passion is her deep understanding and concern for responsible conservation. “I paint not only to cultivate my own artistic nature but also to bring attention to our need as a community to protect our fragile and vulnerable undeveloped landscape.” As a member of the Portuguese Bend Artist Colony, Sidrane for the past 18 years has exhibited her paintings with this distinguished group where they have held an annual exhibition that benefits the Palos Verdes Land Conservancy.

Robert Kenneth White "Sanctuary of the Sea" 2015 Oil of Imagined Classical Port
Located in Miami, FL
ROBERT KENNETH WHITE – "SANCTUARY OF THE SEA" ⚜ Oil on canvas ⚜ Hand signed on verso ⚜ Frameless display MYTHIC SEASCAPE WITH FANTASTICAL ARCHITECTURE In Sanctuary of the Sea (2015), Robert Kenneth White presents a visionary coastal realm—part ancient city, part imagined utopia. Classical domes and soaring towers rise from lush hillsides and rugged cliffs, their golden light and crisp detailing reminiscent of both Mediterranean antiquity and high fantasy world-building. Rich sapphire waters lap against stone piers as a sailboat makes its way through the tranquil harbor, offering a sense of scale and serenity. Executed in oil with White’s signature attention to atmospheric color and architectural clarity, this large-format landscape blends historical evocation with imaginative escape. The composition feels cinematic and immersive, balancing realism with reverie—inviting comparisons to romantic illustrators like Maxfield Parrish, the architectural surrealism of Simon Stålenhag, or the coastal visions of classical landscape painters. WHY COLLECT THIS WORK? ✓ Dreamlike coastal cityscape rendered in luminous oil technique ✓ Large, immersive horizontal format ideal for major feature walls ✓ Evokes timeless architectural fantasy with painterly realism ✓ A standout for collectors of Maxfield Parrish, James Gurney, or Thomas Cole ARTWORK DETAILS: ▸ Title: "Sanctuary of the Sea" ▸ Artist: Robert Kenneth White ▸ Medium: Oil on Canvas ▸ Year of Creation: 2015 ▸ Signature: Hand signed on verso ▸ Country of Origin: United States ▸ Dimensions: — ◼︎ Canvas Size: 19.75 x 39.5 inches ▸ Condition: Excellent ▸ Framing: Frameless Display – Ready to hang or frame INCLUDED DOCUMENTATION ✓ Certificate of Authenticity ✓ Artist Biography Document THE ARTIST: Robert Kenneth White is known for his richly imagined compositions that merge classical realism with visionary storytelling. White’s painterly technique—marked by soft atmospheric transitions and crisp linearity—recalls Thomas Cole and J.M.W. Turner, while his symbolic, storybook environments resonate with fans of Roger Dean...
