Handsome Spanish Revival or Spanish Colonial style Hacienda arm chair hand carved with thick leather seat and back and large nail head trim by Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA. It retains its original tag. This chair is in amazing vintage condition with tons of age patina that only comes with time. It was installed in an apartment clubhouse in 1970 so we are dating it circa 1960s.
This Spanish Revival Hacienda style arm chair is just one more marvellous piece from our recent treasure hunt! We were in awe when we walked into this apartment complex clubhouse with its still intact decor which was installed in 1970. They are remodeling. Silly them. Now we have it all to offer to you.
This Spanish armchair features an incredible hand carved top rail and front stretcher, turned legs, carved finials, beautiful thick hide leather, and extra-large nail head trim. It is quite simply fantastic. And, it will be perfect in your Hacienda! Or, in your Southwestern, country, or mountain home. And, in your loft or in your castle. Its condition is wonderful with lots of gorgeous age patina and retains its original Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA tag. Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA imported artisan handmade piece from Mexico to the US exclusively for sale to the trade. FYI to the trade means they were sold only to architect and interior designers and not to the public. This makes their pieces more exclusive so harder to find. In addition to the tag, some of their items were signed by the artists. So, do not confuse them with Arte de Mexico which is a Los Angeles based shop selling, although beautiful pieces as well, production pieces to the public.
So, whether you call this gorgeous arm chair Spanish Hacienda...
