Awesome vintage rustic Ranch Oak step end table with two drawers & Acorn Brown finish by A. Brandt. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Back was missing for the drawered upper section and a new back was put in place and stained to match. Had a water ring that was repaired with restore-a-finish. Brandt comprised of a rustic solid ranch oak frame with an Acorn Brown finish that is signature to A. Brandt Company furniture. The all-over woodgrain is outstanding, and the finish is gorgeous. The step cube or box has two drawers with square wood pulls, and it has wonderful farm or country style legs with pegs through the tabletop… a cool detail! Can’t you just see this table amongst the décor in the Yellowstone Ranch?? We sure can!! Obviously, this step end table will be beautiful at the end of your comfy sofa with an antler base lamp or western style table lamp of any kind. Fabulous pair of small credenzas or buffet cabinets by A. Brandt Company comprised of solid ranch oak with a natural oak finish. Wonderful vintage condition. One of the shelves in one unit is outfitted with pull-out wire hooks for hanging cups or barware. Plus, the doors and drawers feature the A. Brandt signature wood pulls. In 1931, American furniture designer Thomas Molesworthy created a popular range of upmarket Ranch Style furniture, borrowing ideas from the Craftsman style, as well as the Eastern Lodge style. Molesworthy's originals were handcrafted and expensive. Popular demand for this type of American furniture at a more affordable price gave rise to the Brandt Ranch Oak furniture range. A. Brandt of Fort Worth began producing well-made, solid, comfortable ranch-style furniture in the later 1930's. About A. Brandt Co. A. Brandt Ranch Oak Furniture was made for nearly fifty years in Fort Worth, Texas and has been out-of-production for more than two decades. A. Brandt Company, Inc., debuted the Ranch Oak furniture line in Fort Worth in 1938 and continued manufacturing Ranch Oak into the 1980s. In 1986, the Brandt family sold the furniture company, which went out of business not long afterwards. In the fall of 1988, the entire contents of the factory sold at auction.
