Babette Eddleston Prints and Multiples

American, 1922-1990
Babette Eddleston was a graduate of Cooper Union in Architecture and studied at the New School, Columbia University, Art Students League and Pratt Graphic Institute. She was on the teaching staff at UCLA Extension for six years. In addition to more than 10 one-woman shows in New York, New Jersey, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Provincetown, Big Sur and Los Angeles, her work has been included in major exhibitions and museums. Miss Eddleston is also a producer of films on art subjects which were distributed internationally and authored children's books and a cookbook.

Cyanotypes were then made famous by Anna Atkins, considered the first female photographer.
