The photograph was then painted on using golden glitter to create the “Pop Art” touch by Brian’s wife Linda Aris. It is signed on the border by Brian Aris. It is a limited-edition, number 5/25. Artist bio: Brian Aris in the 1970’s began his photographic career as a photojournalist. Over nine years a series of frontline assignments took him around the world. He then decided on a complete change of direction and opened a studio in London where he started photographing fashion and glamour models, as well as stars of the music industry for newspapers and magazines. He broadened his studio work to include pop and rock stars such as Blondie, The Rolling Stones, The Jam, The Clash, The Boomtown Rats, Roxy Music and The Police. During the next two decades he covered every aspect of the music scene from punk rock, glam’ rock and straight rock ‘n’ roll from the Rolling Stones right through to the emergence of the boy bands and then the girl power that arrived with The Spice Girls...
