Since earning a BA in Painting from UC Santa Cruz, he has focused on a continued commitment to plein air painting in oils but also enjoys working in watercolor and various drawing media. He has been nominated twice for the Rydell Grant.

This piece is completed in a loose, abstracted style that captures the rapidly changing scenery.

Unframed, but the artist has painted the edges black to allow for a frame-less display.
