Beautiful cocktail ring, created in New York city back in the 1970 at the jewelry atelier of the iconic David Webb. This statement ring was carefully crafted with a pattern of textured flames in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats.
Turquoise: Mounted in the center, with 1 round cabochon cut (20 x 20 x 14 mm) carved from natural blue turquoise with a weight of 40.82 carats.
Birthstone: For the month of December.
Weight: 23.35 grams (14.68 Dwt.).
Size: 7.25, sizable.
Measurements: 25.5 mm by 27 mm (1.02 x 1.06 Inches) and raise 15 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the designer's maker mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "©WEB(B) 18KT".
David Webb (1925-1975), was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. Born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife.
