Originally launched in 1969, the DS-80/91 over 50 years later is still considered the pinnacle of high end leather manufacturing. This piece is also as sustainable as it is supreme, as the entire patchwork is created from a single hide. Made with functionality in mind, this piece can also double as a lounge sofa and can be placed anywhere from a living room to a foyer. Born out of a small workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland, de Sede has maintained a passion for over 55 years to transform the finest leather into seating furniture. Striking by design, a piece from de Sede is the epitome of functionalism and fashion. Iconic models such as the DS-600, with its snake shaped concept, and the DS-140, which introduced a rotation system that can turn a beautiful sofa into an elegant double lounge chair in two steps are celebrated as revolutionizing the furniture industry forever.
