The poster features American soldiers carrying the flags of seven major service organizations: the YMCA, the National Catholic War Council, the Jewish Welfare Board, the Salvation Army, War Camp Community Service, the American Library Association, and the YWCA. These organizations were instrumental in providing various forms of support, such as food, medical care, and morale-boosting services, both to soldiers and civilians.
