It was an unseasonably warm February's day when I took a walk along the river Vienne where the old industry decays along the river's edge. It is a day I will always remember because I found two cats in the river just a few metres from this scene; one heavily pregnant, and a kitten close to death, and with a little effort was able to save them both. The kitten stayed with me (after 3 days fighting for life at the vets), and the other cat gave birth to healthy kittens two weeks later.
