Hugh Wallis Serveware, Ceramics, Silver and Glass

British, 1871-1943

Hugh Wallis was a trained and educated artist who developed his skills into metalwork and became an influential figure in the Northern Art Workers Guild. He portrayed himself as an artist and employed others to help with the production of his impressive designs in copper, pewter and brass, with only a small amount being crafted in silver.
