Johann Friedrich Eberlein Vases

German, 1696-1749

Johann Friedrich Eberlein was a German sculptor, having been active at Meissen manufactory since 1735, a few years after Johann Joachim Kaendler's start of a professional career in Meissen (1731). Eberlein created in collaboration with Kaendler and Johann Gottlieb Ehder the famous Swan Set in 1737–42, consisting of more than 2200 separated parts.

Design: Johann Friedrich Eberlein (1696-1749) / Model 1002 Created 1748. Since 1735 second chief modeller of Meissen manufactory, Eberlein was one of the best contributors Johann J. Kaendler had.
