The surface of the box is plain and unembellished. The anterior edge of the hinged silver vinaigrette cover incorporates a plain thumbpiece and allows access to the hinged pierced decorated gilt grille. The pierced decorated hinged grille incorporates a nautical themed design of the ship 'Victory' illustration, in addition to the wording 'Immortal Nelson'*.
