Expressive Mediterranean landscape depicting a historic Spanish hill town crowned by a fortified structure overlooking clustered white and terracotta buildings.
The composition is constructed through energetic, visible brushwork and a vibrant palette of warm earth tones contrasted with an intense blue sky. The artist organizes the architecture in rhythmic planes that guide the viewer’s eye upward toward the monumental structure dominating the skyline.
The painting reflects the Mediterranean post-impressionist tradition, where color and structure take precedence over strict realism, resulting in a lively and decorative interpretation of the landscape.
Works of this kind are particularly sought after for interior design projects thanks to their warm palette, architectural subject matter and timeless Mediterranean atmosphere.
An attractive original painting combining decorative strength with the charm of mid-20th-century Spanish landscape painting.
