Crafted entirely from pure Silver 999/°°, this exceptional cover has been meticulously chiseled and engraved by hand by our talented artist, Lorenzo Foglia. Lorenzo skillfully combined the sinuous shape of a serpent with the elegant form of roses, creating a harmonious and captivating design.
Serpents symbolize transformation and eternity, while roses represent beauty and passion. Together, they create a powerful and meaningful design. The serpent and roses have a shiny, polished effect, capturing light and emphasizing their intricate details. In contrast, the background has been expertly oxidized and chiseled to achieve a darker, matte effect, enhancing the main elements’ brilliance.

Artist information
Lorenzo Foglia, was born in Viareggio in 1971. He grew up in his family workshop, and still very young, started working there together with his father and grandfather. There, he studied the art of metalworking and learned embossing and chisel techniques. During his career he created furniture and jewellery for the Royal Houses of Europe, the theatre and cinema. He won twice the international competition “Art in a jewel”, promoted by Florence Gift Mart. He is President of the Silversmiths of the city of Florence and he is “Master Craftsman” recognized by Tuscany Region, “OMA Craftsman”, and “Master of Art and Craft” for the Cologni Foundation of Milan.
Recently, he has been working with K-OVER for the project: works of art. He signed all the champagne cover he chiselled.
Technical features
K-Over by PMP Firenze has been a pillar in Italian craftsmanship for over 40 years, continuing the tradition of the most skilled silversmiths and metal artisans. K-Over is the new brand, our covers merge our deep knowledge of champagne, wine, and art with innovation and expertise. We have crafted luxury champagne and wine bottle covers that are innovative, highly customizable, and suitable for a diverse range of occasions. An Insulating Interior that lines the interior of the casing, keeping the bottle at an optimal temperature for at least two hours. Our covers are not only aesthetically pleasing but practical. Pure silver’s resistance to oxidation simplifies cleaning and polishing, while its antibacterial properties ensure safety for use with food and beverages. Apart from their design, one of the characteristics that make our champagne and wine covers unique is that they are reusable by simply unscrewing the bottom cap. They can be reused as often as you want, cleaned, polished, and displayed as a luxury decorative accessory. The value of this pure silver 999/°° K-OVER is based on the innovative techniques that have been used in its production. As it can be clearly seen from the pictures, the surface of the K-OVER shines as the Moon. This innovative texture provides also a technical advantage: when you touch the cover, no fingerprint is left. In addition, the product has been designed to show the label of the wine that our customers are tasting.
The cover has been completely handcrafted by Marco Fedi, a Florentine master goldsmith. The production process took few weeks and the techniques used are spinning and engraving.
Artist information:
Marco Fedi started his career in the ‘80s, working for the most prestigious workshops in Florence. During the years, he worked for Tiffany, Bulgari, Christofle and Cartier. Today, he is collaborating with K-OVER for the projects K-over Memories and K-over Design.
Technical features:
K-OVER is the new brand of P.M.P Firenze, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Working in this market for such a long period, enabled us to develop a completely new product: a modern glacette. Indeed, our covers can maintain your precious bottles of wine chilled. The cover can be used as many times as you want: by unscrewing the cap at its bottom, it is possible to change the bottle of wine. All covers are new and have been only exhibited in public events. Covers are suitable for European Bordolese bottles.
