In the tradition, when something breaks, they repair by reattaching the broken piece with liquid gold. In this case, the more mistakes, the more broken pieces we own in our lives, the more beautiful and artistic would be the work of art.

The Artist blended the sinuous shape of the snake with the elegance of roses, in a patterned
background.

Artist information
Lorenzo Foglia, was born in Viareggio in 1971. He grew up in his family workshop, and still very young, started working there together with his father and grandfather. There, he studied the art of metalworking and learned embossing and chisel techniques. During his career he created furniture and jewellery for the Royal Houses of Europe, the theatre and cinema. He won twice the international competition “Art in a jewel”, promoted by Florence Gift Mart. He is President of the Silversmiths of the city of Florence and he is “Master Craftsman” recognized by Tuscany Region, “OMA Craftsman”, and “Master of Art and Craft” for the Cologni Foundation of Milan.
Recently, he has been working with K-OVER for the project: works of art. He signed all the champagne cover he chiselled.

The cover has been completely handcrafted by Marco Fedi, a Florentine master goldsmith. The production process took few weeks and the techniques used are spinning and engraving.
Artist information:
Marco Fedi started his career in the ‘80s, working for the most prestigious workshops in Florence. During the years, he worked for Tiffany, Bulgari, Christofle and Cartier. Today, he is collaborating with K-OVER for the projects K-over Memories and K-over Design.
Technical features:
K-OVER is the new brand of P.M.P Firenze, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Working in this market for such a long period, enabled us to develop a completely new product: a modern glacette. Indeed, our covers can maintain your precious bottles of wine chilled. The cover can be used as many times as you want: by unscrewing the cap at its bottom, it is possible to change the bottle of wine. All covers are new and have been only exhibited in public events. The artist took inspiration from the autumn landscape : bare trees and carpets of yellowed leaves. The cover has been completely handcrafted by Stefano Vigni, a Florentine master goldsmith and a “Fabergé workmaster”. The production process took several months and the techniques used are overhang, chasing and oxidation. The core value of the product is given by its artistic perfection.
