Marcello Ercole was born in Luco dei Marsi in 1926. His first artistic experiences were in Paris and Berne, but he trained in Rome attending in the ‘50s. Ercole studied in Via Margutta and Villa Strohlfern, where painters and sculptors worked among the most fashionable of the post-war period.
