The Italian project Q.bo Sculture does not intend to recreate the object in a different form but to elevate it to a real sculpture while mantaining the functional part it was create for. The finish is eco-friendly resin colored In Verona red, mustard yellow and blue hand applied with a spatula in two coats. This technique creates a visual and tactile effect and gives a protection from scratches and small bumps. Furthermore the cabinet is cleanable with a damp cloth and is water-repellent. The wood is in constant motion, cracks and small chinks on the surface are natural and unstoppable parts of the life of this piece.
