Pair of Michael Andersen Table Lamps in Blue Gray, Danish Ceramic 1960s
By Marianne Starck, Palshus, Søholm Stentøj, Michael Andersen & Son
Located in Silkeborg, Silkeborg
Pair of Mid-century Danish ceramic table lamps designed by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen (MA&S) on the Danish island Bornholm. Manufactured circa 1960s. The lamps are made from stoneware and have a matte blue and gray glaze with some beige elements. Due to the firing process the glaze has an unique expression and not one piece is identical to another. The lamps are marked on bottom and one of them comes with the original MA&S papersticker. Measurements: Height with clip-on bulb lampshade: 42 cm (16.54") / 42,5 cm (16.73") Diameter lampshade: 22 cm (8.66") Height with socket: 29 cm (11.42") Height without socket: 23,3 cm (9.17") Diameter base: 13 cm (5.12") Very good vintage condition. Please notice there is no switcher, which is common on smaller vintage Danish lamps...
