As a photographer, Rudi Molacek learnt not only the principles of composition but also above all the photographs dependence on technology and the associated aesthetics of serial generation. When changing from photograph to painting, he sought a classic genre of painting, namely depiction of flowers with the rose as a preferred motif. This subject later also became the focus of his sculptural approach, as coloured aluminium sculpture, conceived for outdoor nature. COLD WINTER SPECIAL...$1,120....A rare set of 11 vintage original gelatin silver photographs by the French photographer JEAN FERRERO and two original "Riviera Boy’s" Catalogue Booklets. Photographs are Stamped and Numbered with the Copyright, Artist and Model's Names. Catalogue 1 and Catalogue 3 are circa 1962 and 1963. Booklets are complete, #1 is 42 pages and and #3 is 20 pages of images of Ferrero’s popular models and order forms and instructions in French. Booklet models including Rod Ferrero - Mister Europe 1961, Francois Rossi - Mr. France 1958 and Umbrerto Devetak - Mr. Italy 1961. For legal reasons photos in the catalogues have posing straps drawn on however, actual photographs in this series are full nudes.
