Stephanie Peek graduated with an MFA in painting from the University of California, Berkeley and BA in art history from Wellesley College, Boston. Peek is known for her contemporary romantic, poetic and mysterious oil paintings, where light and drama often mingle to play central roles. Her paintings speak metaphorically of the fragile beauty and ephemeral nature of the world.
