This beautiful high-boy dresser features the signature Brasilia sculpted front panels and brass pulls. These key elements are what makes a Brasilia a Brasilia. The dresser features five wide drawers in total, the top drawer with a sculpted wood front panel and four with brass Brasilia pulls. All standing on top of a sculpted Brasilia base. Brasilia by Broyhill Premiere label located inside of top drawer. We have the matching low dresser with mirror, nightstands and headboard - contact us or see our other listings for details. Originally designed in the 1960s based on the emerging modern designs coming from the capital city of Brazil, Brasilia. Much of the public spaces were designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer such as the Palácio do Planalto which this credenza shares many design similarities with. Perfect for the Mid-Century Modern collector or the interior designer looking for the perfect piece to make a room look complete and finished. Tandem Sling Armchair by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller, c 1970

By Herman Miller, Charles and Ray Eames

Located in Los Angeles, CA

This single 'Tandem' sling armchair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, is part of the iconic modular seating system originally introduced for airports and public spaces in the mid-20th century. The design reflects the Eameses’ ability to combine industrial efficiency with refined modernist aesthetics. NOTE - we have another one listed if you wish to create a pair. The chair features a cast aluminum frame with a sculptural profile, supporting a suspended sling seat and back upholstered in black leatherette. The tailored upholstery is tensioned within the frame, creating a supportive yet flexible seating experience while maintaining a clean, architectural silhouette. Originally conceived as part of a connected beam seating system, this example has been configured as an individual armchair, allowing it to function as a standalone piece in a variety of interior settings. The aluminum frame provides both durability and visual lightness, while the black upholstery offers a timeless and versatile palette. The gently reclined back and integrated armrests contribute to the chair’s comfort, making it well-suited for use as a lounge chair, office chair, side chair, or accent chair. Its industrial origins also lend themselves well to interiors ranging from Mid-Century Modern and Modernist to Industrial and Contemporary environments. The Eames Tandem...

This lovely California Modern low dining table by Danny Ho Fong for Tropi-cal features an iron frame that holds a woven cane rattan top, along with a glass pane to use as a solid surface over the caned rattan. Somewhat lower than traditional dining tables, this table would be ideal to pair with stools opposed to standard dining tables. Or another idea is using cushions to sit on, could even use low seating such as a Roche Bobois Mah Jong cushions or Togo lounge chair, loveseat or sofa. Great for patios and other outdoors spaces. Paul Frankl 'Speed' Art Deco Living Room Suite in Black Leather, circa 1930s

By Paul Frankl

Located in Los Angeles, CA

This incredible Paul Frankl attributed 'Speed' full living room suite is comprised of a three-seat sofa, a 2-seat sofa, armchair and ottoman. The 3-seat sofa and armchair are original 1930s production based on the interior construction details and visible age. The 2-seat sofa and ottoman were created later in the 1980s to match the set and everything was then reupholstered to a thick quality black leather. I personally love this set - the wide arms are perfect for placing a glass of Scotch and an ashtray to enjoy a nice cigar. The deep black color and matching black block feet provide ample masculine style while the shape and silhouette provide a refined and classy vibe. The leather is thick and quality, also smooth and soft to the touch. The collector who acquired this sofa and armchair, purportedly in the 1980s, stated he found what he believed to be a Frankl Galleries (Paul Frankl's 1930s showroom) original example of the Speed sofa...

'Bounty' Leather Loveseat by L. Davanzati for The Pace Collection, 1980s

By Lorenzo Forges Davanzati, Elam, Pace Collection

Located in Los Angeles, CA

A lovely example of the 'Bounty' series two-seat loveseat / settee by The Pace Collection in the early 1980s, this deep seated channel-tufted loveseat sofa was designed by L. Davantazi produced by Elam and retailed by The Pace Collection. Perfect for a cigar, whiskey or wine lounge or any space that can use something a bit modern yet still refined and classy. *Note, we have the matching club lounge chair and three-seater couch in another listing. Last two photos show the entire set. See our other listings or contact us for more details if you wish to create a living room or office / hotel lobby set. This channel-tufted leather love seat retains its original supple leather upholstery in an intriguing deep burgundy-brown color, almost like dark-cognac with beautiful lightly aged leather patina. The sumptuous seats are encased in a dark colored lacquer, providing an attractive modern contrast with the rich and elegant leather. This two-seater sofa has casters for ease of relocation according to occasion and mood or to better suit a view. The back is finished with tufted leather making this loveseat look incredible when floating in a room with the back exposed. Curved Art Deco styled arms lend 1980s juxtaposition and character to any room. Similar in style to the Saratoga Sofa by Massimo and Lella Vignelli for Poltronova 1970s, but at a fraction of the price. Plus something you don't get with the Saratoga sofa is the refined style of the elegant channel-tufted leather cushions on this Bounty loveseat sofa by The Pace Collection. The Pace Collection also offered the highly sought after collection by Guido Faleschini such as the Tucroma chair which is an interior designer and 20th century Modern design collector's favorite go to chair. Another example is the wild 1970s bed that featured interior design magazine covers when Lenny Kravitz home was featured with the Mariani bed...
