Magnificent Art Deco Revival white milk glass & aluminum monumental cylinder pendant lights by Visa Lighting hardwired & comprised of a milk glass cylinder shade, spun aluminum base, top rim (or flange), canopy, & cone shape finial, metal dowl rod, 6 socket lamp holder with 6 bulbs, 1 down facing light, & metal hanging chain. Selling separately but 4 available. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. And these white milk glass & aluminum monumental cylinder pendant lights by Visa are nothing short of that… Totally EXTRAORDINARY!!! And let me tell you… SIZE MATTERS FOLKS!!! And the glass body ALONE on one is 30 inches tall… 35.25 inches rim to rim… 43 inches to the top of the cone and it’s 14 inches in diameter!! HOLY MOLY!!! They are LARGE and in CHARGE!!! We have 4 of these fabulous, hardwired pendant lights that we are selling separately. They are comprised of an incredible milk glass cylinder shade, a marvelous spun aluminum base, top rim (or flange), and a wonderful cone shaped finial. Inside the cylinder is a metal dowl rod with a lamp holder featuring 6 sockets with bulbs… 3 facing up and 3 facing down. And if you follow that rod down even lower, there is yet another single down facing light. So, this means you have TWO lighting options… You can have ALL the lights on OR you can switch off the down facing light. Isn’t it NICE to have options?? And all this MAGNIFICENCE hangs from a fabulous spun aluminum canopy and handsome metal hanging chain. Fun Fact!!! Visa Lighting has a cool little video on U-Tube discussing their products and history and these EXACT light fixtures make a quick appearance in the video photographed with a red background behind the lights, you should check it out!! They’re kind of FAMOUS!! We can just see a series of three or all four hanging over your dining table, kitchen island, or indoor bar. And though they are Art Deco Revival in style, they will also blend in beautifully with your Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, Modern, and other décor styles. A single light would be stunning in a tall, narrow entryway, stairwell, or hallway or a sequence of three or four in your Great room hanging from the tall, vaulted ceilings. John Mascheroni was born in 1932 and has been designing furniture since he began his working career. He studied Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and he worked at his father’s furniture factory where he learned to create reproductions of European antiques. Eventually he opened his own design practice with a showroom in New York’s elite D & D Building. He had many influences over the years including Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobson, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Mies van der Rohe, & Jean-Michel Frank but stated that he was most influenced by Charles & Ray Eames & George Nelson and their awareness of the human body and the ability to design furnishings ergonomically appropriate. His famed 1966 design of the “Tubo Table” is in a collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Today he is a spirited 90 years old and has been working with Lazar Furniture...

What a DELIGHTFUL Dining Table!!!! WOW!!!! This is a MAGNIFICENT vintage Modern to Postmodern square dining table comprised of straight narrow rectangular maple legs and a beautiful blue laminate inlaid top designed by Michael Graves for Craftwood a Division of Sonnenberg Ind. Fantastic vintage Modern to Postmodern maple pedestal base round coffee table with blue laminate inlaid top designed by Michael Graves for Craftwood a Division of Sonnenberg Ind. Ltd. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, it has all been refinished except for the cylinder pedestal. The wood base was repaired and filled prior to refinishing & there were little nicks in the laminate that were filled & colored. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century.

Magnificent vintage mid-century modern pair of red Cone chairs by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen comprised of red hopsacking covered bent sheet metal frames, loose round seat cushions, and 4 prong swivel chrome bases with black glides. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials. MY. OH. MY…. What have we HERE??? This is a phenomenal pair of iconic “Cone Chairs” by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen!!! The Cone chair was originally designed by Verner Panton in Denmark in 1957. As the name suggests, the body of the chair takes the form of a cone. Standing on its tip, a semi-circular padded shell extends upwards to form the back and armrests, thereby creating a very comfortable and eye appealing armchair. This pair is comprised of fabric covered sheet metal frames bent into a cone shape, gorgeous bright red hopsacking with white stitching, a loose round seat cushion, and a flat 4-prong chrome base with swivel feature and black glides. If you remove the round seat you can view inside the cone base. An original set of red cone chairs much like ours debut in Verner Panton’s father’s restaurant called “Kom Igen” (meaning: Come Again in Danish) in 1958. How COOL is that?? And a fun little history fact on the Cone chair is that it was originally manufactured by Percy Von Halling-Koch who founded the company “Plus Linje” specifically to produce the Cone chair. In the 70’s, they were manufactured by Fritz Hansen, until 2004 when Swiss manufacturer “Vitra” took over… and they still produce them today. Ours are definitely vintage and throughout our extensive research we believe they were made in the Fritz Hansen era. In a statement made by Verner Panton’s friend Niels-Jorgan Kaiser, he explains the design of the Cone chair as “a ballet dancer standing on her toes and easily turning pirouettes’, supported by a flat four-star base.” His genius to use the geometric form and outstanding bright colors were beyond his time, which was a breakthrough in the history of chair design. And his designs are still classic. They are mid-century modern in style with an Atomic or Mod flair, although they are made in Denmark… so they also have a bit of Scandinavian SASS, and they are sure to make a statement in any room of your home. They would be FABULOUS in a game room, at the counter of your indoor bar...
