About Astute Studio
AS’TUTE Studio is a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary design practice founded by Anastasia Stepanova.
At the heart of our design philosophy lies a deep understanding that each project is a unique opportunity to create a space that authentically reflects one’s lifestyle and personality. We approach every project with a fresh perspective, eager to understand what home means to our clients, how they live in it, and what feelings they want it to evoke. Our goal is to craft interiors that are both timeless and deeply personal, with a focus on creating a harmonious balance between form and function.
Anastasia Stepanova completed her Master's in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in 2012. She has gained extensive experience in design at award-winning firms, including Roman and Williams, AvroKO, MAK Studio, and Marmol Radziner, working on projects ranging from elegant private residences and boutique hotels to commercial and cultural developments.
As a designer, she is passionate about creating the experience of space with its unique rhythms and rhymes that resonate with individuals, leaving a lasting impression of enchantment and wonder. Object as a magic lantern – is what she is striving to create as an artist and designer for the studio's collectible design pieces.
