Darlene Molnar takes on interior design projects of varying scopes, both residential and boutique commercial, with a specific interest in creating bespoke interior experiences.
Based in the Washington, DC metro area, her studio serves clients nationwide.
Darlene’s style is contemporary leaning, often with a drop of playful charm or gentle edginess. She works on a small number of projects at a time so that she can lead the design from kickoff to completion. Her dedication to each project, coupled with her devotion to developing individualized interiors, brings an unmatchable value to her clients.
Darlene holds a Master of Arts degree in Interior Design and is both NCIDQ-Certified and LEED Accredited. Her education includes design studies with Sotheby’s London, Parsons Paris, and the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. In addition to her varied interior design experience, she has designed products and furniture, taught in the Interior Architecture & Design Department at George Washington University, and contributed editorial content to several shelter publications. Her work across these disciplines brings a unique design sensibility to each project.
