Starburst Entrance Door for New and extant Residences
By Aaron Saxton, History Never Repeats
Located in South Charleston, WV
Model HNRCED Sunburst Atomic Made to order by History Never Repeats LLC. Custom produced here in the United States. 84" tall x 72" is the common measurement but we can produce in any size, single or double. The video shows a door with hardware and a smooth textured paint that highlights what is possible for your door with a custom paint selected by the client and produced by Benjamin Moore using Aura Exterior. The customer also had us install a peephole as well and we incorporated this into the vertical bar. High quality construction with the best hinges, woods and hardware that can be used. All hand made. The key to the doors is the use of old Appalachian oaks to produce hard and strong door jambs with our material sourced through local yards and the woods all selected. Critical to a quality door is the true Stave Lumber Core construction which is as good as a wood door can be; strong and resistant to movement using either oak, poplar or pine depending upon the environment. Price includes the entire assembly with door jamb, weather stripping, threshold, doors, starburst to one side of doors, deadbolt, keyed entry knobs...

Antique Cast Bronze Outdoor Pendant Light Fixture with Stained Glass Panels
Located in Hamilton, Ontario
This substantial antique six-sided outdoor pendant light was made between 1900 and 1910, most likely in the United States. The heavy and very ornate frame and mount are cast bronze which has been painted flat black many times over the years, but is visible where the paint has flaked off and on the ceiling cap. The six sides are done in stained glass panels of textured clear glass, with a deep yellow diamond shaped accent running down the center of each panel. The ornate top of the fixture is done with thick and heavy stepped curves with a pineapple styled finial atop each of the six sections. This Edwardian pendant light...

Set of 9 Art Nouveau Hand Beaten Bronze Door Handles with Plates
Located in Dallas, TX
Presenting a gorgeous and unique set of 9 Art Nouveau hand beaten bronze door handles with plates. Amazingly complete set! Probably made in the US circa 1910 and most definitely influenced by the English New Lyn School of Arts and Crafts Era hand-beaten copper pieces. These are without doubt Art Nouveau in style and from the period. They were salvaged from a Mansion in Dallas that was built in 1929. We are of the opinion that these were ‘custom made’ pieces. They are unmarked and unsigned and they appear to be made of bronze with a brass and copper mix. The Set consists of: 6 double sided classic door handles/knobs with central lock pin – suitable for door of a minimum of 1.5 inches thick but can accommodate thicker door. Each of these 6 also come with their original back plates (x12) and keyhole covers (x12) for either side of the door. 2 handles/knobs with central lock pin but with small knob on backside- suitable for door of a minimum of 1.5 inches thick but can accommodate thicker door. This pair also has their original (front) back plates and a Yale back plate on the rear. 1 double sided turning door handles/knobs with turning central lock pin – suitable for door of a minimum of 1.5 inches thick but can accommodate thicker door. This also comes with it’s original back plates (x2). 1 Spare Keyhole cover, 2 spare back plates, 1 Spare plain Bronze Turning Knob with pin and 2 spare Hand-beaten Bronze Turning Knobs with pins. TOTAL OF 63 PIECES! These were originally used in the Mansion we rescued them from, with Yale Mortice Locks (a number of which we have listed separately in this category). The fact that they are hand beaten bronze, is highly unusual in itself as most of these types of pieces were copper. Also, we rescued these from the now demolished Mansion along with the UNIQUE hand beaten Bronze Door Straps...

Located in Omro, WI
Mailboxes are in much need of redesign, and Wooda’s Postale fits the bill. Being that we are Wisconsin based and have to deal with winter, we decided to cantilever our mailbox far from the post to allow ample room for snow plows, while also placing the box as close to the road as possible for easy delivery and pickup. No more rain-soaked mail with the eave over the door for protection. Design lovers have finally found their perfect mailbox. Postale is an original Wooda design made from Honduran...

Monumental 19th c Gilt Copper Spire Roof Finial
Located in Hanover, MA
Extraordinary architectural roof finial spire over 9 feet high constructed of hand beaten copper then finished in gold leaf. Looking for a statement piece? You've found it! Weighs under 75 pounds. Stands steady on its own. In two pieces: the top ~40 inches can be removed from the rest, for ease of transport. Unrestored. Finish is worn and distressed but the original natural patina is gorgeous. It may be possible to go over the gilding with something that will bring out its luster. We have only dusted it. The largest sphere has a couple of noticeable dents which I'm sure could be pulled out however we love it just the way it is. Found in the basement of an un-renovated 1850's brick townhouse atop Beacon Hill. We speculate the copper is from Paul Revere's own works. Unsigned apparently but some of the American companies who made finials, weathervanes, etc. were: J.W. Fiske Cushing & Sons, Westervelt, Mullins Thomas W. Jones Kenneth Lynch...
