An art deco enameled box designed by Tonnel Paris.
Magnificent rectangular box, created in Paris France for Tonnel-Paris during the art deco period, back in the 1920's. This beautiful cased box has been crafted in yellow gold of 14 karats and embellished with applications of red and black thick glass enamel. It is fitted with a nine-barrels hinge and a push thumb lock. The lid is decorated on top with an extra art-deco motif made in platinum, which are set up with three European old round diamonds. The craftmanship and the contrast of colors are amazing. The interiors are highly polished showing rich yellow gold and actually, this gorgeous box can be used for presentation cards.
Diamonds: The platinum part is mount, with 3 European round diamonds, .06 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique English 18 karat gold snuff box; an addition to our 19th century collection.
This exceptional antique English 18k yellow gold snuff box has an oblong form with rounded ends.
The body of this antique box is embellished with engine turned decoration, accented with tooled borders.
This impressive antique 18k gold box is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with further engine turned decoration to the upper plateau; the underside of the box bears the same design as the cover.
The anterior rim of the cover incorporates an impressive applied yellow gold thumbpiece, ornamented with cast floral festoon decoration.
The interior of the cover is embellished with the contemporary engraved inscription 'Presented to Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Cother C.B. on his retirement from the Service by the Officers of the 83d Regiment, As a token of their respect and esteem, MDCCCXXIX'; these Roman numerals pertain to 1829.
Condition
This antique 18k gold snuff box is an exceptional gauge of gold, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The cast decoration is very sharp and the engine turned and engraved decoration is very crisp.

Hallmarks: Stamped with German pre 1922 marks, the maker's mark LK inside an oval cartouche associated to the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, the mark for the silver assay 900 and signed in the border rim, "LK .900".
Louis Kuppenheim
The company was grounded in 1854 by Louis Kuppenheim (1824-1889) and Heinrich Witzenmann, specialized in silver and gold and -enameled artefacts. On the World Exhibition in 1900 the firm received a gold medal for a letter opener. In that same year the company opened a branch in the Rue Richelieu 67 in Paris. In these years some designs by Hans Christiansen were executed, amongst them very delicately enameled silver cigarette cases. The enamels on the several silver and gold pieces was of very high standard, and sometimes even gems like rubies were applied. Very limited Jeweler-made Cigarette Dispenser hallmarked by the silversmith Legros Marius for Dunhill that resembles a stacked pair of dice with playing cards on top. A simple press of the center button seamlessly hidden in the center dot of the dice pops open a hinged lid with a 24-cigarette holder inside.
This is a very low-production piece and possibly the only one ever made on special order. Beautiful hand-made by the silversmith with the uttermost attention to detail.

A stunning, modern limited edition Russian Faberge 18ct gold box mounted on a detachable fitted four leg stand. The rectangular box has a hinged cover decorated with green guilloche enamels overlaid with rope twist trellising the joints to the cover mounted with diamonds and red rubies. The box has cut out corners which correspond with the matched stand. Both have impressed FABERGE marks along with 750 marks for 18ct gold and the box is numbered 39/100 and the stand 20/300.
In 1990 Victor Mayer & Co was commissioned to resume manufacture of original Faberge objects.
