Comtoise Morbier Tall Case Clock

About the Item

A very nice Comtoise Morbier tall clock in a floral paint decorated Pine case, France - late 19th century. Rings on the hour and two minutes after the hour and a single strike on the half hour. Movement is keeping excellent time and running very well but could probably use a professional cleaning sometime. The two metal side doors for the movement box are missing. A very nice piece of 19th century French country history.
