The electromagnetic movement is regulated by a large, slowly oscillating bi-metallic balance wheel, with the correct battery these clock will run for the duration of the battery life. Housed in a mahogany dial clock case with turned dial frame and brass bezel, the movement is visible through a cut out in the dial so the oscillation can be seen. The movement is numbered 5676 and stamped with the patent no 14614/1906 Made in England. The dial retains its original painted finish (cracked in places). An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Swiss silver and pink enamel miniature boudoir clock; an addition to our silver timepiece collection. This exceptional antique Swiss silver miniature boudoir clock has a plain rectangular form. The surface of this impressive antique clock is embellished with impressive pink guilloche enamel panels, framed with plain broad sterling silver borders. The upper portion of the enamel clock is fitted with an angular carrying handle. The enamel dial of the clock is ornamented with black hour numerals, encircled with plain black chapter ring of minute markers and fitted with shaped pink hands. The face of this timepiece is visible through a circular glass 'window' with a plain applied silver border. The hinged door and opens to reveal the original movement. The clock movement is fitted with an incorporated hinged winding key, featuring a shaped handle with a lobed fingerpiece.
