Snowy owl on driftwood mount. Life-size and realistic however made of white Imden farm goose feathers as a recreation. The beak and claws are sculpted from a resin material. 28"H x 11"W x 15"D including base. Beautiful bright white and soft feathers. Unique and hard to find of this quality. Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso sapphire blue to clear Italian art glass fish on base sculpture. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1950s. Published in his book (see photo), model 6180, and a later model number 6913 is in the same shape. The fish has little blue murine eyes, with white Latticino ribbons on the fins and tail. It is balanced on a clear glass base. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, coffee table, or display cabinet. Mid-century era. Would make a great addition to any Nautical, Marine / Ocean theme room. Measures: 10 1/2" tall x 7" long x 3 1/2" wide. Last photo shows other colors currently available in the gallery.
