Art Deco Female Mannequin Bust, c1940's
About the Item
Fabulous Art Deco display female shop mannequin. She's in good vintage condition with the usual bumps and bruises one would expect but no serious damage. She's a great size and would be a wonderful asset to any collector or prop for a dealer / retail display. Typical hair styling of the day with crimped waving which is complimented by her make-up which has been expertly applied in deco pastel tones. We do think she's likely been over painted at some time in her life as she's in excellent condition and her paintwork looks very vibrant, having said that unlike most over painting she's been expertly done and doesn't look amateurish as sometimes seen with these pieces.
