About the Item

Dutch silver mounted crystal cut salt cellar set, 1921-1925 Dutch silver mounted crystal cut salt cellars with silver salt spoons by Bierenbroodpost, van der Starre & Mandersloot. The salt cellars are diamond crystal cut with a silver mounted rim featuring a pearl motif. The spoons have a twisted handle with a ball at the end. The silver spoons bear the silversmith hallmark of Bierenbroodpost, van der Starre & Mandersloot and this hallmark is used between 1921 and 1925. All the silver bears the Dutch silver hallmark "Sword" used between 1906 and 1953/835/000 purity of silver. The set is boxed, and the interior of the box is discolored. There appears to be a crack in one of the crystal bowls, but this is a crevice. The measurements the salt cellar is 3,5 cm high en 5 cm diagonal. The spoons are 6 cm long
