Early 19th Century Dutch Silver and Diamond Cut Crystal Cruet Set, 1816

About the Item

A early 19th century Dutch silver and diamond cut crystal cruet set, 1816 A silver standard with three diamond cut crystal bottles and a sprinkle bottle with silver CAP. Rectangular but oval shape with 8 corner base, raised at 4 ball feet. The standard for the bottles with handle, which gracefully ends with 3 shaped lines with a ball in between. With weapon inscription. A helmet figure with an 19th C Empire shield shape in 4 quarters by a cross. (faded). A tiny chip on the rim of the crystal neck of one bottle. The holder is marked with the Dutch silver hallmark Yearletter G for 1816, and the importmark for France, used between 1864-1893 (see details in the last picture) And silver CAP of the bottle, marked with the Dutch silver hall mark "Sword", used during 1804 till 1906. The measurement is 24.5 cm high, 18 cm wide and the depth is 12 cm (In Inch H 9.6/ W 7.1/ D 4.7 Inch) The total weight is 1165 grams.
