The painting is made with natural earth pigments on eucalyptus bark and affixed to a Hessian board backing for display. It was created in Oenpelli, Western Arnhem Land, in 1977. Provenance: This piece is from the Kelton Foundation Collection (Richard Kelton Collection located in Santa Monica, California) of important Australian Indigenous Works of Art and was acquired in 1982.
