Magnificent vintage Moroccan or Moorish style embossed & pierced hand-crafted copper & brass pendant light fixture with multicolored glass & plastic jewels, decorative brass chain, and brass canopy, stamped Made in India. It is hardwired and has a single bulb. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the interior shade has some bends, unseen from the outer light. There is some natural patina on the brass and all but 4 original glass amethyst jewels have been replaced with new plastic ruby, emerald, and topaz jewels. It is large scale and comprised of a hand hammered copper urn or jug shaped body, a round black painted wood base, hand forged hammered copper and iron double handles, and a knob shaped brass finial. And it is topped with a stunning black coolie shade with an inner shade that has a black and metallic gold modeled finish. It almost gives off a bronze hue…It’s just GORGEOUS!!
