This is an impressive large antique George V sterling silver Corinthian column table lamp bearing hallmarks for Sheffield 1928 and the makers mark of the renowned silversmith Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd
It features a classic Corinthian Capital decorated with acanthus leaves, the shaft has invert fluting, on a stepped base decorated with beading and features the inscription: 'FROM A FEW SHORDITCH FRIENDS'.
