An exquisite pair of 19th-century Ormolu-mounted Sevres cobalt urns, now converted into lamps. Originating from France around 1880, these lamps stand 24 inches high to the top of the sockets and 19 inches high to the top of the vases. Each urn measures 8 inches wide and 5 inches deep.
These pieces exemplify the finest quality enameling and feature hand-painted Boucher vignettes on the front, signed by the artist J. Lubar. The backs are adorned with charming Boucher-style putti vignettes, adding to their artistic allure. The urns are complemented by finely cast ormolu wreath handles, enhancing their elegance and sophistication.
